I checked www.pushmountainpics.com and the only 'Vet was our own. Carmen & Tommy in their Victory Red Anniversary. SO, the Corvette crew we saw in Big Flat did not run 341. Must have been posers? Steve

Loks like everyone had a good time. Wish we could have made it up. Now it's time to make plans for the Piney Woods run on Nov. 14th. Hope to see everyone there.

Absolutely! The early bird run was great - 123 (south of 7 section), the Pig Trail, Mt. Magazine and Nebo, oh yea! I'm thinking we'll run the Saturday route counter clockwise next year to give everyone a different look at all those twisties!

I woulda bet that's where they were headed. Missed a great road..... TOO MANY ROADS! not enough time & sponsors Except for a couple of road repair areas, Southbound 341 is great too. Found out what was the cause of the smoke rolling off of the front brakes going southbound 341 ==> the outside painted sections of the front rotors suffered a major hit. If we would have been able to continue moving, ["TRUCK MAGNET"] it would not have happened. I will repaint. Two (2) days next year will again be a hoot. Hwy 14 is good, AWA 16 East, 9 East of 5 is fun too and 123 W/O a pit stop at Pelisor is another different Route. . Everyone is invited back again next year! JR did good again. Steve We really should have ~60 S&S's (+C) run this some year. Folks are really missing some of the best driving roads in the USA.

Thought maybe the future recipient (s) would like to see the "PPP" award. (bugs NOT included) And for the record; Door to door distance - 813.9 miles Total time - 13:35 hrs Moving time - 12:21 hrs (this includes approx 40 minutes lost time due to construction back up @ Hillsboro) Stopped time -1:14 (gas-bio-food) Moving average speed - 65.9 Overall Average - 59.9 Max speed - 83.5 And we DID see and cross the Arkansas River! Had a great time and look forward to doing this again next year. Thanks again too all involved. It was also great to see everyone again.
