JackKnife,

Rogers was founded by my forebears as they made their way from North Carolina through Tennessee, then Arkansas, before landing in the Sweetwater, Texas area.

I had to stop making jokes about your (our!) neck of the woods when my kid brother started doing the family tree in earnest.

Looking forward to seeing you and your lovely wife in October. Yes Nod

Sign me up for the Saturday run please!  And I can meet OG and Stuck in McKinney Friday morning for the drive to Russellville.
Cool deal!

My wife (the HRB) and I will be staying Thursday evening with stuck and his better half (and the slobbering beasts and the war kitties Grin). Drop him a pm and find out what time he plans on heading out that Friday morning.

OK, you guys get safe passage...but I got my eye out for them joke-tellin', civilized, city-dwellin', shoe-wearin', snooty-type Texans who come up here for our roads and otherwise

make fun of our cuisine (fresh road kill), our hygiene (toothbrushes were made for sharin'), our lineage (three surnames is all you need in one state), and our politicians (I swear,

Clniton never touched my sister!).

Just watch it mister!

You aren't really FROM Arkansas are you?  It is called a toothbrush because it was invented in Arkansas - had it been invented elsewhere it would be a teethbrush.  Roadkill is nothing in AR - come to TX where we have it served on the half shell (Armadillo), you must be from one of them new fangled areas - I went through three counties from Boonville to Ozark and could not find someone I was not related to :-)
AND My cousin begged me to vote for Slick Willie (no pun intended) in the primary because "we have had all of Queen Hiliary we can stand"  and he never touched an R candidate or the R lever in all of his 75 years  Yes Nod Yes Nod

Capital "D" ?  You're aiming for a green and yellow one this year?

Just warn the Deer that I'm coming.

I got a pair of deer whistles to install temporarily under the license plate.

Oh yeah. I also got the new DDM Backbone installed tonight.  Didn't have to drop the exhaust off the hangers either ! The only problem is I'm in the Texas Panhandle and every road here is flat and straight for 100 miles so our test drive will be the Colorado Twisties near Pike's Peak on Saturday !
