I've been thinking about Hal's comment in some history about lurving to rain on my parade because it's so sloooooooowwwww. He's right. Fred likes to drive slow, stop and take pictures, and smell the roses. Just going to go ahead and call a Rodeo on this one. This way y'all can drive it like y'all want.

Awww, Fred, you shoulda seen me and JBD with Duck last time. He took off  and we took our time cruising and about 30 miles later we caught him at a rest stop. No problem! We'll have a lot of cruising miles on this one. Way too many miles to run it all, unless you're a glutton for punishment like Duck! Think it over. We'd love to see you two.  |

Yes. I figured we'd just have a laid back, Fred-esque Saturday to see the sights and take it easy!  Besides the Gila Cliff Dwellings, Silver City has an interesting downtown area to check out. |

What say ye' O.G. on this??? It is almost certain that the HRB will _not_ be able to make this. At present, I am only able to express my strong desire to make this run, as I have not yet seen my full Fall schedule at school. I certainly _hope_ I can make it. The Devil's Backbone is a good road, for sure. I should know more in a few weeks. --O.G. |
